40 S & W 165 gr RNFP Copper Plated Re-Manufactured - Modern Hodgdon Extreme powder
Our Price: $15.49

Out of Stock

Bishop Ammunition remanufactured 40 S&W cartridges are made in the U.S.A at our plant in North Highlands, California by U.S. Citizens. This ammunition uses a top shelf, top grade modern Hodgdon Extreme powder that is not sensitive to either the temperature or position of the powder inside the case. This powder yields constant pressure and velocity shot after shot after shot regardless of the condition in which it's used. We believe, when properly loaded and inspected, once-fired brass is every bit as reliable as new brass, if not more. Because once-fired brass has been, by definition, fired, it provides an advantage that new-made cartridges do not have: Simply put, the possibility that poorly formed primer holes would prevent ignition has been eliminated. Our processed brass undergoes an initial hand inspection, commercial-grade Scharch machine testing, a custom-designed cleaning and polishing process, another hand inspection, then the round is made on commercial-grade presses, and undergoes a final hand inspection before the ammunition is hand packed into the box. Just like when we use new brass, all cartridges go through the same intense quality control, high precision machining, and personal hand inspection.
  • Match-Grade Ammunition.
  • Each box contains 50 cartridges, mixed headstamp.
  • Modern St. Marks powder insures a more consistent cleaner burn regardless of temperature or firing position shot after shot after shot.
  • 1/10th Grain Consistency = Increased Accuracy = Better Performance.
  • We purposely do not load once-fired processed cases to maximum SAAMI specification, but it is within the range specified by the powder manufacturer. There is solid reasoning behind this: Our ammunition provides a lower recoil, less chance of case splits and less of a chance of blowing someone's gun up. Other manufacturers do fully load to maximum specification on their re-manufactured ammunition, or they will cut corners on the powder used in order to increase their profit margin. Use theirs at your own risk
  • These cases are cleaned using our own custom process, full length sized, roll sized and primer pockets resized and chamfered all back to new brass specifications.
  • Primer, powder and bullet components are American-made where possible and supply allows. Brass can be a mix of both American and foreign-made once-fired brass.
  • Loose-packed.
  • Each box will contain either all brass cases or all nickle-plated cases. We do not mix nickle and brass in the same box. Your order may contain some boxes of all brass cases and some boxes of all nickle-plate cases, depending on inventory levels, unless you specify otherwise.
40 S&W WARNING

This cartridge
is intended for use in firearms which fully support the cartridge in the chamber. Use of this cartridge in firearms which do not fully support the cartridge may result in bulged cases, ruptured cases, case head separation, or other conditions which may result in damage to the firearm and/or result in injury or death of the shooter or bystanders.

Most Glock 40 S&W *do not* have a fully supported chamber. Do not use this ammunition in Glock 40 S&W or other unsupported chamber pistols.
If you really want to shoot our 40S&W ammo in your Glock, have an after market barrel that uses a supported chamber, dropped into it. This is a fairly common practice and will give you the safety margin needed to fire our ammo in your Glock.

Contact your firearm manufacturer to determine if your pistol completely supports the case head, or ask a gunsmith to inspect your pistol before using it with ANY ammunition. It is the gun owners responsibility to know their firearm and its capabilities and limitations.
