Bishop Ammunition .45 Auto (.45 ACP) Defense Cartridges are made in the U.S.A at our plant in North Highlands, California by U.S. Citizens. These .45 Auto (.45 ACP) Defense Copper Plated Hollow Point Cartridges use a modern powder that is not sensitive to either the temperature or position of the powder inside the case. This powder yields constant pressure and velocity shot after shot after shot regardless of the environmental condition in which it is used. In this product, we use BRAND NEW AMERICAN-MADE BRASS from Starline. Every cartridge is made on commercial-grade presses, undergoes hand inspection and is chambered in SAMMI spec chambering blocks before the ammunition is hand packed into the box.

  • Each box contains 20 cartridges. They feature new brass cases manufactured by Starline, a leading U.S. company.
  • Our .45 Auto (.45 ACP) Defense ammunition uses a top-shelf, modern powder to insure a more consistent cleaner burn, regardless of temperature or firing position shot after shot after shot.
  • At Bishop Ammunition, we keep our loads to within 1/10th Grain of consistency. This leads to increased accuracy and better performance.
  • Our powder loads are kept within the upper range specified by the manufacturer within SAAMI specifications, and are tested in our own real world weapons. There is solid reasoning behind this: Our .45 Auto (.45 ACP) Defense Copper Plated Hollow Point ammunition provides a lower recoil, less chance of case splits and less of a chance of blowing someone's gun up.
